This advertisement is trying to appeal to a younger and more edgy audience. The Levi’s 501 “Live unbuttoned” movement is geared towards a rebellious and highly influenced younger generation. It uses the line, “Who do you want to unbutton?” to be relatable to many people. This makes it seem like everyone has that one person that they encounter every now and then that they have been attracted to or that they have wanted something more with. Maybe it is a celebrity, or a person highly out of reach, but either way, everyone has someone. Her answer, “The boy who makes my morning latte” makes her seem like a regular girl who has a regular crush on a guy who works in a coffee shop. The whole ad is relatable. Her handwritten answer adds to that as well and does her laid back dress and posture. It makes you want to be her. Makes you want to wear her jeans.

This website was really interesting to me. http://www.fashionillustrator.com/fashion-gallery.html It is a great example of what you can use illustrator for in the fashion design world. She uses illustrator to draw her sketches and designs and then she posts them on this site. It inspired me to learn more about graphic design and the fashion industry.

This article on yahoo.com was highly interesting to me. This layout was also interesting and worth sharing. Although there is a lot of white space, the overall appearance seems organized and the paragraphs well spaced. yahoo is good at making their paragraphs shorter and well displaced so it seems like an easy read. I appreciate this. There is a small picture which I think is a disadvantage. If it were larger i think it would grab more people's attention. I hope you check it out and I hope you read the article because its really cool! shout out to Dr. Edgar!

In taking this class I have learned a lot already. One thing that I am hoping to gain more knowledge about is layouts. I think that end design will help me greatly. I dont plan to use any graphic design after I graduate, but you never know! I think that end design will help me with my website though. I created it last year and use it for my business Sew Little Time. Check it out! http://sewlittletimetoday.com
