This article on yahoo.com was highly interesting to me. This layout was also interesting and worth sharing. Although there is a lot of white space, the overall appearance seems organized and the paragraphs well spaced. yahoo is good at making their paragraphs shorter and well displaced so it seems like an easy read. I appreciate this. There is a small picture which I think is a disadvantage. If it were larger i think it would grab more people's attention. I hope you check it out and I hope you read the article because its really cool! shout out to Dr. Edgar!

In taking this class I have learned a lot already. One thing that I am hoping to gain more knowledge about is layouts. I think that end design will help me greatly. I dont plan to use any graphic design after I graduate, but you never know! I think that end design will help me with my website though. I created it last year and use it for my business Sew Little Time. Check it out! http://sewlittletimetoday.com

In lieu of the opening ceremonies being tonight, I thought I would hunt for an Olympic picture :). This one would be a great choice to use when learning how to select one object because the background is not solid but out of focus. this would make it easier to grab the edges of this figure skater. I think the photo is also a great representation of centering and image focus. The main point of the photo is in focus and the rest is not which brings your attention to her. Great picture!
