This Image is a great example of centering. The model is centered directly in the middle of the photo which draws all attention to her. She is also the obvious focus because of the subject background. It is not distracting and it is slightly blurry so it makes the focus most definatly the model. This picture was in a JPEG format. This is a good fromat for this picture because JPEG is a great quality format for photos.

This photo is a great example of lines. Even though there are not actual straight lines, the models form a line that firlst draws your eye from the bak to the front. the slight blurriness of the back of the phot also draws your eye to the front. The focus becomes the first model with the cut out in her dress. This phot is also in JPEG format which is a great choice as it is a very good quality format for a photo.

This photo is a great example of the 1/3 rule. The model in the red is in the first third of the page and she is the main focus of the photo. This is also a poor job at cropping. While the model in the black dress adds another element to the photo she also draws the attention away from the main focus and to add emphasis she should be cropped out. This photo is also a JPEG image which is a great choice because JPEG is a high quality format for photos.
I think the second photo is a very intersting use of leading lines since it is all humans instead of an actual line. I thinks it's GREAT and very unique!
ReplyDeleteThe third photo has really good contrast since the focal dress is an orange-y/red color and the background is dark. I think that if the girl in the background was cropped it would give the other dress more focus, however, since it's black I think it helps the background and also allows you to notice that this photo was taken on the runway. Thus, it can also be somewhat considered an action shot since she's walking down the runway.
I love the red dress. I agree that the black dress should have been cropped out. I enjoy the simplicity of the first photo.
ReplyDeleteThe first photo is a great centering example! Even her dress is perfectly simmetric.
