In lieu of the opening ceremonies being tonight, I thought I would hunt for an Olympic picture :). This one would be a great choice to use when learning how to select one object because the background is not solid but out of focus. this would make it easier to grab the edges of this figure skater. I think the photo is also a great representation of centering and image focus. The main point of the photo is in focus and the rest is not which brings your attention to her. Great picture!
